The Kazakhstan–Jordan Business Forum was held in Astana with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding economic ties. The forum brought together representatives of government agencies, chambers of commerce and industry, and more than 150 companies from both countries, becoming an effective platform for direct dialogue and discussion of promising projects.

In 2024, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Jordan reached USD 6.3 million, increasing by 6.3%. Since 2005, the inflow of Jordanian investments into Kazakhstan has exceeded USD 15.4 million, with 59 joint ventures successfully operating in the country. The key event of the forum was the plenary session on investment cooperation, moderated by Ainur Amirbekova, QazTrade’s Managing Director for Export Development. The discussion focused on trade diversification, expansion of investment ties, and implementation of new projects in logistics, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and industry.

The forum was marked by the signing of agreements and memorandums of cooperation in the agricultural, pharmaceutical, and financial sectors. An important practical outcome was a series of B2B meetings involving about 100 Kazakhstani and 50 Jordanian companies, including participants of the 2025 Export Acceleration Program. In addition, the parties agreed to hold a reverse business mission to Jordan.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and King Abdullah II of Jordan consider strengthening trade and economic relations as one of the key areas of cooperation. The leaders emphasize the importance of diversifying trade, developing investments, and creating joint ventures in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and industry.
