QazTrade: Kazakhstan’s IT service exports reached $881 million

Kazakhstan is taking part in the world’s largest technology exhibition — GITEX GLOBAL 2025 in Dubai — presenting a national pavilion featuring digital solutions and startups. The initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Trade and Integration in cooperation with QazTrade. The pavilion showcases 20 companies demonstrating developments in the field of artificial intelligence.

Among the participants are Cerebra.ai, which uses AI to detect strokes and assist doctors; BEST Vision Technologies, which develops video analytics systems for industrial safety; BilimApp, promoting Kazakh educational services; Ghalam, working on aerospace technologies; and Alaqan, creating digital solutions for people with special needs. All these companies are part of QazTrade’s “Export Acceleration” program, which helps them enter global markets.
Kazakh IT teams are already holding meetings with investors and tech companies from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar to discuss the integration of domestic solutions into government services and corporate platforms.

During the exhibition, the Kazakh company TrustMe signed an agreement with Dubai-based Sogdians Venture Studio. They are now the official representatives of TrustMe in the UAE and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets.
In addition, Blackstone AI signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Family Eight Holdings Limited (UAE). The parties agreed to cooperate in the integration of artificial intelligence technologies, joint product development, and expansion into international markets.

“GITEX brings together participants from more than 170 countries, including government delegations and technology corporations. Participation in the exhibition is a strategic step toward promoting Kazakh IT companies in international markets. Kazakhstan is strengthening its status as a country that exports not only raw materials but also intellectual products. In 2024, Kazakhstan’s IT service exports reached 881 million dollars, a 20.3% increase,” noted Ainur Amirbekova, Managing Director of QazTrade.

Kazakhstan’s participation at GITEX also reflects the priorities outlined by the Head of State in the 2025 Address, where he emphasized that “artificial intelligence and digital technologies should become the new drivers of economic growth and global competitiveness of the country.”
