Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan Launch Industrial Cooperation in Exports

The International Business Week was held in Ufa, becoming a key platform for strengthening economic ties between Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan. The Kazakh delegation was headed by Almas Ikhsanov, Head of the Export Acceleration Group at QazTrade.

National Stand and Retail Interest
The central event of the mission was the operation of a joint national stand showcasing products from 15 Kazakh enterprises, ranging from flour mills to manufacturers of geosynthetics and oil and gas equipment.

Key results of the stand:

Over 600 visitors showed interest in Kazakh products over two days.

50 business contacts were established with potential importers and distributors.

18 major companies and retail chains, including Lenta, SoyuzPishcheProm, and Arkada Foods, expressed interest in supplies.

The stand received special attention from Andrey Nazarov, Prime Minister of Bashkortostan. He highlighted strong demand for healthy food products, particularly Kazakh talkan, and noted promising opportunities for cooperation in the agro-industrial sector.

New Opportunities in the Oil and Gas Sector Industrial cooperation also found practical continuation in the energy sector. The head of the region noted that solutions offered by the Kazakh company **Petro Gas Tools** (electrical and chemical protection, components) could be in demand at facilities of **Bashneft PJSC**.

The main outcome in this area was the signing of a tripartite agreement between Petro Gas Tools LLP, the Davletkanov Oil and Gas Engineering Plant, and Duslyk Trading House. The document outlines plans for joint product sales, localization of production in Kazakhstan, and exchange of expertise in mechanical engineering.

“The trip to Ufa showed that Kazakh food products and technological solutions are genuinely in demand in the Volga Federal District. Most importantly, we are seeing a transition from one-off deliveries to sustainable cooperation and joint manufacturing projects,” said Almas Ikhsanov, Head of the Export Acceleration Group.
