Kazakh companies signed deals worth $61 million at the Contact Exchange in Uralsk

QazTrade opens a trade and exhibition platform in Kazan and expands supplies to Russian retail

A Contact Exchange was held in Uralsk as part of the XXI Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.
The key business platform brought together more than 100 companies from both countries and resulted in the signing of agreements totaling $61 million.
The B2B negotiation format allowed participants to present their projects and immediately move to concluding agreements. According to the organizers, Kazakh and Russian companies demonstrated strong interest in expanding mutual trade and launching joint industrial initiatives.
One of the outcomes of the forum was the signing of a memorandum between QazTrade and the Russian company BOLASHAK on the establishment of a trade and exhibition platform for Kazakhstani producers in Kazan.
The new format will allow domestic exporters to showcase their products in the central part of Russia and build systematic distribution into regional retail chains.

“We are creating comfortable conditions for Kazakhstani producers to enter new markets and are contributing to the growth of the country’s export activity.
The forum confirmed that cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia brings concrete results,”
— said QazTrade Managing Director Berik Akhmetov.

According to Rustam Safiulin, Director of BOLASHAK LLC, the partnership with QazTrade will make it possible to build a stable channel for supplying Kazakhstani goods to Russia:
“We see strong demand for quality products from Kazakhstan and are ready to ensure their presence in key regions of the country.”
As part of the Contact Exchange, another memorandum of understanding was signed between QazTrade and Karavan LLC (Russia), aimed at expanding the supply of Kazakhstani goods to Russian retail chains.
QazTrade’s Head of the Export Acceleration Group Almas Ikhsanov noted that the document will become another step toward strengthening the economic partnership between the two countries.

“By bringing Kazakhstani goods onto the shelves of Russian supermarkets, we open new opportunities for domestic producers and provide Russian consumers with high-quality products at competitive prices,” he emphasized.
The Contact Exchange once again demonstrated the effectiveness of direct business dialogue — moving from negotiations to contracts.
The agreements signed confirm the positive dynamics of trade between Kazakhstan and Russia and the growing interest of businesses in practical cooperation.
