On April 13, 2026, a meeting was held at the office of JSC “QazTra
de Trade Policy Development Center” with H.E. Ali Akbar Joukar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the participation of representatives of Kazakhstani businesses. The event was held in a hybrid format, bringing together both offline and online participants.
The meeting served as an open platform for substantive dialogue between the diplomatic corps, QazTrade, and domestic companies interested in developing trade ties with Iran. Particular attention was paid to practical issues faced by businesses when entering the Iranian market, including logistics, export supplies, the specifics of interaction with Iranian partners, as well as promising areas of bilateral cooperation.
During the discussion, representatives of Kazakhstani companies had the opportunity to directly raise issues of concern and discuss existing barriers and opportunities within the framework of bilateral trade. This format made it possible to build a constructive and meaningful exchange of views focused on finding practical solutions for expanding the presence of Kazakhstani products in the Iranian market.
The event brought together representatives of companies from various sectors, including the agro-industrial complex, the food industry, agricultural processing, mechanical engineering, medical equipment manufacturing, the chemical industry, as well as specialized industry associations.
Holding such events is important for strengthening business ties between Kazakhstan and Iran, increasing the awareness of domestic businesses about opportunities and operating conditions in foreign markets, and enhancing practical cooperation with international partners.
