At the International Trade and Shipping Service Center in Tianjin, a 100 sq. m Kazakhstan Hall office has been launched. The office will serve as a permanent showcase for Kazakhstani food products and as the official representation of Kazakhstan’s business in China.

The establishment of the office became possible following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in June 2025 in Astana between the QazExportPromotion Corporate Fund and the Chinese company Silvery Dragon Group Technology and Trade Co., Ltd.
Currently, Kazakhstan Hall is operating in a pilot format. The exhibition hall is being filled with new products, and documents are being processed to register the QazTrade representative office. The official opening ceremony is scheduled for this autumn.
According to the QazTrade Center for Trade Policy Development, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Tianjin has been steadily growing. In 2023, it amounted to $347.9 million, and in 2024 it increased to $474 million.
Tianjin is a key trade hub of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, providing comprehensive port services. By joining this project, Kazakhstan gained access to a “green corridor” for SCO member states, multimodal routes linking Asia and Europe, as well as investment and financial services.
“The opening of the QazTrade office in Tianjin is an important step for us. Through the Tianjin port, we will be able to deliver Kazakhstani goods to any country in the world faster and more efficiently. At the same time, our representation will create new opportunities to develop digital trade and attract investment in the Chinese market,” – said Aitmukhammed Aldazharov, Director General of the QazTrade Center for Trade Policy Development.
