Representatives of QazTrade visited the Abai region on June 21-22 and met with the business community of the region.
As part of the working trip, Deputy General Director of JSC «QazTrade» Aibek Sagynaev got acquainted with the production activities of the Semey Cement Plant and the vegetable oil processing plant of Qazaq Astyq Group LLP. He also told businessmen about the opportunities presented by state programs to support domestic exporters of non-primary products.
In addition, Aibek Sagynayev took part in the training «Measures of state support for investment activities, mechanisms for supporting investors within the Investment Ombudsman, as well as attracting investment and supporting entrepreneurship in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, chaired by the First Deputy Akim of the region Abai Aydin Karimov, with the assistance of JSC NC Kazakh Invest.
The event was attended by representatives of the business community of the region and national development institutions (JSC «NUH «Baiterek», JSC «KazakhExport», JSC «QazIndustry», JSC «Kazakhstan Center for Public-Private Partnership», JSC «Entrepreneurship Development Fund «Damu» and NCE «Atameken»).
Aibek Sagynayev presented the export opportunities of the region and export support tools provided by JSC «QazTrade».
In turn, the exporters of the region voiced proposals and problematic issues. At the meeting, the representative of QazTrade outlined ways to solve them, explained the mechanism for providing reimbursement of part of the costs to exporters for transportation costs and product promotion, spoke about export acceleration programs and access to electronic trading platforms, as well as participation in exhibitions and trade and economic missions.
For reference: To date, 2 companies of the Abai region have received accounts with the status of «Gold Supplier» on the Alibaba platform (KondiZ Distribution LLP, Semey Agro Invest LLP), 4 companies have received support in the form of participation in the QazTrade Accelerator Program (Semey Agro Invest LLP, Adal AS Trade LLP, LLP «Kazelectromash», «Kondiz Distribution» LLP). Also, companies in the region received compensation for part of the logistics costs (in 2022 – 15 applications in the amount of 107.5 million rubles. tenge: LLP «Semey kurylys materialdary», LLP0 «Semey Cement Plant Production Company», LLP «AK NAN KZ», LLP «AK BEREKE», in 2023, 1 MVK – 8 applications in the amount of 8.6 million tenge: LLP «AKNAN KZ», LLP «KondiZ Distribution»).
