Graduated from Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi specializing in international relations. He also holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University. Master of Business Administration at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, majoring.

He served as an adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 1980 he graduated from the Karaganda Pedagogical Institute, in 1999 – from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Economics and Management.

In 2007 – Karaganda State University named after E. Buketov with a degree in jurisprudence.

 

Career

He began his career in 1979 in the Karaganda Regional Council of the DSO “Petrel”.

From 1986 to 1991 he worked in commercial structures.

From 1991 to 1995, he worked as Deputy Director for Commercial Affairs of the Association for Promoting Business Cooperation between Enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation in Moscow.

From 1996 to 1997, he was the manager of Maksat Joint-Stock Bank in Almaty.

From 1997 to 1998, he was the managing director of Karaganda – Carbide JSC.

From August 1998 to December 1999 he worked as Deputy Director of the Karaganda branch of the Agency for the Reorganization and Liquidation of Enterprises OJSC.

In December 1999, he was appointed Acting Deputy Chairman of the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From March 2000 to the present, he has been working as Deputy Chairman of the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In August 2008, he was elected Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Public-Private Partnership Center.

From August 2010 to January 2015, the Chairman of the Management Board is the President of JSC “NK“ Kazakhstan Engineering ”

He is currently an adviser to the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
