The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Armenia in January-July 2020 amounted to 7.7 million US dollars,which is 38.1% higher than in the same period of the previous year (5.6 million US dollars).

Exports from Kazakhstan to Armenia in January-July 2020 increased by 2.1% and amounted to 4.3 million US dollars.

The growth of exports to Armenia is justified by an increase in the supply of such goods as: ferroalloys – by 1,6 million  US dollars (from 0 to 1.6 million US dollars), non-alloyed steel clad flat-rolled articles – by $ 997,3 thousand  US dollars (from 0 to 997,3 thousand US dollars), pork – an increase of 2.4 times or by 366,4 thousand US dollars (from 253.9 to 620.2 thousand US dollars), live cattle – by 362,6 thousand US dollars (from 0 to 362.6 thousand US dollars ), plastic construction parts – by 78,3 thousand US dollars (from 0 to 78.3 thousand US dollars ), toilet paper, handkerchiefs, napkins and similar products – by 47,7 thousand US dollars (from 0 to 47,7 thousand US dollars ), paper, cardboard and other articles thereof – by 18,8 thousand US dollars (from 0 to 18.8 thousand US dollars ).

At the same time, there is a decrease in export supplies of such goods as: animal feed products – by 100% or by 181,6 thousand US dollars (from 181.6 to 0.0 thousand US dollars. ), electrical transformers – by 86.6% or by 129,8 thousand US dollars  (from 149.8 to 20.0 thousand US dollars ), centrifuges, equipment and devices for filtering liquids or gases – by 100% or by 122,1 thousand US dollars  (from 122.1 to 0.0 thousand US dollars ), ship derrick cranes, lifting cranes – by 100% or by 107,5 thousand US dollars  (from 107.5 to 0.0 thousand US dollars ), consoles, panels, tables for electrical equipment – by 100% or by 91,1 thousand US dollars (from 91.1 to 0.0 thousand US dollars ).

The main export goods from Kazakhstan to Armenia are: ferroalloys – 1.6 million US dollars  (with a share of 37.2%), non-alloyed steel clad flat-rolled articles – 997.3 thousand US dollars  (23.3%), pork – 620.2 thousand US dollars (14.5%), live cattle – 362.6 thousand US dollars  (8.5%), electric batteries – 239 thousand US dollars (5.6%), sugar confectionery (including white chocolate) – 103.3 thousand US dollars  (2.4%), plastic construction parts – 78.3 thousand US  dollars  (1.8%), chocolate and other finished food products containing cocoa – 49.3 thousand US dollars  (1.2%), toilet paper, handkerchiefs, napkins and similar products – 47,7 thousand US dollars  (1.1%), pasta – 24.2 thousand US dollars.  (0.57%). Imports to Kazakhstan from Armenia in January-July 2020 decreased by 3% and amounted to 3.4 million US dollars.

The reduction in imports from Armenia is justified by a decrease in the import of such goods as jewelry and parts thereof made of precious metals or metals clad with precious metals – by 54.7% or by 705.2 thousand US dollars (from 1,288.8 to 583.6 thousand US dollars ), vaccines, blood serum, blood – by 84.7%, or 181.3 thousand US dollars (from 214.0 to 32.6 thousand US dollars ), strong alcoholic drinks – by 7.3% or by 87.8 thousand US dollars  (from 1,210.3 to 1,122.4 thousand US dollars ), liquid pumps – by 100% or 72,3 thousand US dollars  (from 72.3 to 0.0 thousand US dollars ), chocolate and other finished food products containing cocoa – by 96.2% or 52 thousand US dollars  (from 54.0 to 2.0 thousand US dollars ), stone processed for monuments or construction and items thereof – by 98.2% or 40.7 thousand US dollars  (from 41.5 to 0.8 thousand US dollars. ), furniture and accessories – by 100% or by 36,5 thousand US dollars  (from 36.5 to 0.0 thousand US dollars ).

At the same time, there is an increase in imports of such goods as: freight railroad carriages or tram cars – by 380 thousand US dollars  (from 0 to 380.0 thousand US dollars ), plastic construction parts – by 167 thousand US dollars  (from 0 to 167.0 thousand US dollars ), medicines packaged for retail sale – an increase of 4.2 times or by 91.5 thousand US dollars  (from 28.5 to 120.0 thousand US dollars ), glass containers – by 73,7 thousand US dollars  (from 0 to 73.7 thousand US dollars ), gas, water, electricity supply meters  – an increase of 5.3 times or by 73.2 thousand US dollars  (from 17.1 to 90.3 thousand US dollars ).The main imports to Kazakhstan from Armenia are: spirits – 1.1 million US dollars  (with a share of 33.1%), jewelry and accessories made of precious metals or metals clad with precious metals – 583.6 thousand US dollars  (17.2%), freight railroad carriages or tram cars – 380 thousand US dollars  (11.2%), plastic construction parts – 167 thousand US dollars  (4.9%), medicines prepackaged for retail sale – 120 thousand US dollars  (3.5%), fruit and vegetable juices – 96.5 thousand US dollars  (2,8%), gas, water, and electricity supply meters  –  90.3 thousand US dollars  (2.7%), waters, including mineral and carbonated ones, with sugar – 78 thousand US dollars  (2.3%).
