Kazakhstan goods were presented in Paris

QazTrade participated online in the «Made in Kazakhstan» exhibition in Paris on May 6, organized by Advantage Group with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in France.

The event featured honey products from «SUN-BEE ALTAI» LLP, turkey from «Ordabasy Kus» LLP, home textiles from «AGF Group» LLP, cattle tags and animal blood sampling systems from «ZD Flex» LLP. The presentation of Kazakhstan products aroused great interest on the French side. Thus, the exhibition was attended by representatives of major French retailers – Group Casino, Marché de Rungis, FranPrix, Sabil; distributors of food and textiles – C-Design Home, Miel Factory, as well as representatives of the French Ministry of Agriculture and Insitut de l’elevage IDELE.

Director-General of «QazTrade» JSC Azamat Askaruly presented the possibilities of exporters of Kazakhstan, which receive a wide range of necessary non-financial measures of state support through a QazTrade single window. Of particular interest to potential French importers was a tool for reimbursement of part of the cost of up to 80% of Kazakh exporters to promote and transport goods abroad. It was noted that the exporters presented at this exhibition have already actively used the support measures of QazTrade – «SUN-BEE ALTAI» LLP and «Ordabasy Kus» LLP received partial reimbursement of export costs, «SUN-BEE ALTAI» LLP and «AGF Group» LLP received access to Alibaba international electronic trading platform through the «Gold Supplier» account. At the request of these exporters, the necessary analytical and advisory materials regarding foreign economic activities are regularly provided.

In addition, Azamat Askaruly noted that «QazTrade» JSC is actively working to attract foreign investors in export-oriented projects in Kazakhstan and expressed its readiness to cooperate on projects together with the French business:

«Our team is ready to prepare «market study», market analysis on the goods of interest, potential and forecast of industry development, provide contacts of existing exporters on the issues of interest for cooperation».

It should be emphasized that despite the restrictions due to the pandemic, the turnover of processed goods between the countries in 2020 increased by 24% and amounted to 1.2 billion USD. The growth of 14% (254 million USD) in exports from Kazakhstan to France of processed goods is observed, indicating the mutual interest of the parties to trade in goods of higher redistribution.
