Dear media representatives!

We invite you to take part in the meeting on the midterm results of the Ready4Trade Central Asia project for small and medium-sized enterprises

on export management in Almaty on September 2 at 14.15

One of the most important tasks of the government is to expand the toolkit for supporting exporters. Currently, there are more than 20 different types of state support for export-oriented manufacturers in Kazakhstan. One of the key tools are – supporting novice exporters, diagnostics of their export potential, training in entering foreign markets.

Ready4Trade Central Asia one of the largest projects that provides export-oriented industries a consulting support.

The project was launched in 2020 by the International Trade Center (ITC) and is being carried out until December 2023. The project is funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the ITC. National partners in Kazakhstan are the Ministry of Trade and Integration and ‘QazTrade’ Trade Policy Development Center JSC.

Within the framework of the project, much attention is paid to training small and medium-sized businesses representatives in the specifics of export operations and the development of export-oriented business in general.

Companies that have completed coaching trainings of the project will attend the meeting on September 2. They will share their experience, observations, and recommendations on export management coaching in the Republic in Kazakhstan. The trainers will present the success stories of enterprises that have undergone business mentoring and are already applying in practice gained knowledge.

As part of the event, there will be a mini exhibition of SMEs products participating in the project, where enterprises will present handicrafts, textiles, natural cosmetics, etc.

The meeting will also be attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Integration, QazTrade company, a representative of the EU delegation in Kazakhstan.

The goal of the Ready4Trade Central Asia project is to support the development of intraregional and international trade in the five countries of Central Asia by increasing the transparency of cross-border requirements, removing regulatory and procedural barriers, strengthening the ability of businesses to comply with trade formalities and improving cross-border e-commerce.
