We hereby inform that the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in partnership with the International Trade Center and the European Union, is implementing a 4-year project “Ready4Trade Central Asia” aimed at developing international and regional trade between the countries of Central Asia.
This project is working to remove major regulatory and procedural obstacles to international trade. One of the objectives of the project is to remove non-tariff barriers in relation to selected intra-regional and external trade flows, which are agreed with national partners:
- Flour export to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan;
- Export of vegetable oils and oilseeds to the European Union;
- Import of dairy products from Kyrgyzstan;
- Import of fresh fruits and vegetables from Tajikistan;
- Import of fruit juices from Uzbekistan.
In order to analyze trade barriers and simplify trade procedures, a questionnaire was developed, the results of which will be presented online on March 29, 2021 at 15:00.
