Export of processed agriculture products from Kazakhstan for the period January – July, 2020 increased by 12.9% and it was 693.6 billion$ , compared with the same period of the previous year.

Export of the processed industrial products from Kazakhstan for the period January – July, 2020 decreased by 8.8% and it was 7.6 billion$ , compared with the same period of the previous year.

Import reduction is justified by a decrease in imports of such products as: parts for electric engines and installations – by 98.5% or by 370.9 million $ (from 376.5 to 5.6 million $), steam boilers or other steam – producing products – by 97.4% or by 284.8 million $ (from 292.5 to 7.7 million $), natural gas – by 47.3% or by 236.3 million $ (from 499.9 to 263.6 million $), other products – by 97.6% or by 191.8 million $ (from 196.5 to 4.7 million $).
At the same time there is an import growth of such products as: refrigerators, freezers and refrigerating equipment – growth of 8 times or by 715.2 million $ (from 102.4 to 817.6 million $), air or vacuum pumps, compressors and fans – growth by 2.9 times or by 541.8 million $ (from 281.7 to 823.5 million $).
The main products of import to Kazakhstan are: air or vacuum pumps, compressors or fans – 823.5 million $ (with a share of 4.1%), refrigerators, freezers and refrigerating equipment – 817.6 million $ (4.1%), medicines, pre – packed for retail sale – 638.1 million $ (3.2%), pipeline fittings – 526.8 million $ (2.6%), telephone sets – 457.2 million $ (2.3%), passenger cars – 405.4 million $ (2%), centrifuges, equipment and devices for filtering liquides or gases – 327.3 million $ (1.6%).
