Export is not a one-day matter

The unified export promotion operator QazTrade continues to support Kazakhstani companies in entering international markets.

In an interview on the “Interview” program on the 24KZ TV channel, Ainur Amirbekova, Deputy CEO of QazTrade, emphasized that export is a long-term, step-by-step process that requires systematic preparation.

According to her, companies can be broadly divided into two categories: those already exporting and those just planning to enter foreign markets. The latter group — mostly SMEs with ready-made products but no export experience — is the main focus of QazTrade’s export acceleration program.

“Many believe that contracts follow immediately after training. But that’s not the case. Real export involves market analysis, document preparation, logistics, participation in negotiations, and adapting the product to the requirements of the target country,” said Ainur Amirbekova.

She also shared the outcomes of recent trade and economic missions. According to her, export contracts worth $350 million have already been signed under the program, and a database of 750 international buyers will serve as a strong foundation for promoting Kazakhstani goods abroad.

“We’ve already completed stages like training, marketing, and strategy. Our next step is to find concrete partners and help companies enter foreign markets. Our goal is not just to educate, but to ensure real export growth,” she emphasized.

QazTrade is expanding its international presence. Offices have already been opened in Uzbekistan, the UAE, Hungary, Iran, China, and Tajikistan. Five trade houses are soon to be launched in China, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Iran. In addition, a terminal will open in the port of Bandar Abbas in Pakistan, facilitating faster and more efficient delivery of Kazakhstani goods to global markets.
