Partial Reimbursement of Costs for Promoting Processed Domestic Goods and ICT Services to Foreign Markets
Export cost reimbursement is one of the most in-demand support measures among domestic exporters.
The reimbursement provides compensation for part of the expenses incurred by exporters in the course of organizing export operations. According to the Rules, reimbursement is available to both producers and distributors.
Export-related expenses are categorized into three main groups:
– Transportation costs of exported products;
– Promotion-related expenses — participation in exhibitions, maintaining branches and retail spaces abroad, advertising of exported goods, and more;
– Export of information and communication services.
The amount of reimbursement depends on the type of expenses, the product’s processing level, and the size of the company. Kazakhstani companies may receive compensation ranging from 30% to 80% of incurred expenses. However, there are limits based on the company’s tax payments and the maximum amount reimbursed per company per year.
