Career
Began his career in 2009 as a senior expert at the Center for Economic Development Planning at the Economic Research Institute JSC under the Ministry of National Economy.
From 2010-2016, worked as a senior expert of the Investment Processes Analysis Department, Head of the Investment Processes Analysis Department, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship Development of the Economic Research Institute JSC under the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Career

Berik Akhmetov began his professional career in 2008 as a petroleum product sales manager at Terra-Burabay LLP.

From 2011 to 2015, he worked as Director at Manex LLP and at the legal firm “Sovetnik” LLP.

Between 2015 and 2019, he held various positions in the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Investment and Development, and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2019 to 2025, he continued his career at the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where he headed the Export Promotion Department and later served as Deputy Director of the Export Promotion Department, overseeing international cooperation.

Since March 2025, he has been serving as Managing Director for Trade and Economic Relations at the JSC “Center for Trade Policy Development “QazTrade”.
