QazTrade continues its systematic efforts to support non-resource exports from Kazakhstan’s regions.
As part of a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, the Akim of Atyrau Region visited the QazTrade representative office in Nanjing. The parties discussed ways to expand the region’s export potential, promote Atyrau products on the Chinese market, and address practical aspects of supporting exporters.
Special attention was given to LLP “Karat”, a participant of the national Export Acceleration Program 2025. The company has been included in the registry of the State Trade Administration of the PRC and is preparing an export contract with Chinese partners. Thanks to participation in the program and expert support from QazTrade, the enterprise is entering new foreign markets and expanding its sales channels.
“Entering the Chinese market is a new opportunity for our company. There is stable demand, high quality standards, and fair competition here. Currently, our plant is not operating at full capacity, and exports will allow us to fully utilize our production resources. We plan to supply flour and pasta products and hope to sign a long-term contract with our Chinese partners. So far, we have not encountered any difficulties, largely thanks to QazTrade specialists who support us at every stage,” said Amina Abdrasheva, founder of “Karat” LLP.
According to QazTrade, the acceleration program supports companies along the entire path — from marketing analysis and product adaptation to logistics and negotiations.
QazTrade representatives noted that Chinese partners highly value personal interaction, and such meetings are critically important. “In the case of Karat, we see genuine interest from Chinese businesses in Kazakhstani products.”
Ainur Amirbekova, Managing Director of QazTrade, the national export promotion operator, commented:
“The permanent pavilion in Nanjing is not just a showcase but a real growth point for Kazakhstan’s export. It features products from 44 participants of the export acceleration program – ranging from flour and pasta to sunflower oil. We are actively working on entering Chinese e-commerce platforms such as JD.com, Pinduoduo, and Alibaba, and creating opportunities for B2B meetings and investment contacts. All of this is aimed at supporting Kazakhstan’s non-resource exports to China.”
