On April 21, 2026, the Kazakhstan–Mongolia Business Forum was held in Astana at the Astana International Financial Centre, with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin and First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia Jamyangiin Enkhbayar.
The event was aimed at strengthening trade and economic cooperation and expanding business ties between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

The Forum became a logical continuation of the trade and economic mission of Kazakhstani businesses to Mongolia held in March 2026 and confirmed the mutual interest of the parties in deepening their partnership.
As part of the official program, welcoming remarks were delivered by representatives of both countries, followed by a panel session with the participation of government bodies, development institutions, and the business community.
QazTrade Trade Policy Development Center JSC acted as a co-organizer of the business program and facilitated B2B meetings in a “Speed Dating” format aimed at establishing direct contacts between Kazakhstani exporters and Mongolian partners.

During the B2B sessions, participants discussed prospects for the supply of Kazakhstani products, including food products, textiles, agricultural and processed goods, as well as logistics issues and opportunities for expanding bilateral trade.
Additionally, a presentation corner featuring samples of Kazakhstani products was organized within the framework of the forum, where domestic producers showcased the country’s export potential and held negotiations with potential importers.
Following the event, a document exchange ceremony was held, during which 19 bilateral memorandums aimed at developing trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Mongolia were signed.
The forum confirmed the practical orientation of bilateral engagement and created additional opportunities for the implementation of joint projects.
