The Republic of Kazakhstan announces its first-ever participation in the format of a National Pavilion at one of the world’s largest food and beverage exhibitions, Gulfood 2026, which will take place from 26 to 30 January 2026 in Dubai (UAE).
Kazakhstan is a country in the heart of Eurasia, ranking as the ninth-largest country in the world by land area and possessing enormous agricultural potential. Millions of hectares of fertile land and natural pastures, a continental climate and long-standing livestock traditions form the basis for the production of natural, environmentally friendly and flavour-rich food products. The country is well known for its high-quality wheat, meat and dairy products, flour, pasta and vegetable oils.
In 2026, Kazakhstan will bring around 30 companies to Gulfood, representing the “best of the best” of the national food industry and agro-industrial complex. The exposition will feature:
- grains and deep-processed grain products;
- flour and pasta products;
- meat and dairy products;
- vegetable oils and fat-and-oil products;
- confectionery and instant/ready-to-prepare products;
- beverages, including tea-based and functional drinks;
- health-oriented food products and rice.
The Kazakhstan National Pavilion at Gulfood 2026 will serve as a one-stop platform for international partners interested in long-term food supplies from Central Asia. Visitors will be able to discover leading Kazakhstani brands, discuss terms of cooperation with producers and government export-support institutions, and obtain information on logistics routes and supply opportunities to the countries of the Persian Gulf, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
A comprehensive business programme is planned as part of Kazakhstan’s participation, including:
- a roundtable with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the UAE Government, and international traders and retailers;
- targeted B2B meetings between Kazakh exporters and buyers and distributors from GCC, MENA and other regions;
- presentations of Kazakhstan’s export and investment potential in the agro-industrial sector;
- a gala dinner at the Kazakhstan National Pavilion in Expo City Dubai, which will be the culmination of the country’s participation in Gulfood 2026 and a platform for informal business networking.
Special attention will be given to the signing of export contracts, off-take agreements and memorandums of cooperation, which will help strengthen food security in the region and ensure stable supply channels from Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan’s participation in Gulfood 2026 is organised by the Corporate Fund “QazExportPromotion”, under the flagship role of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of JSC “QazTrade” and other relevant government institutions. The Kazakhstani side views its participation in Gulfood as a long-term partnership with the UAE and the markets of the Persian Gulf and reaffirms its readiness to act as a reliable, predictable and responsible supplier of high-quality food products.
