Representatives of QazTrade JSC carried out explanatory work on measures of state support for export issues for enterprises in the Mangistau region.
On June 24, QazTrade spoke at the plenary session «Prospects for the development of entrepreneurship in the region» as part of the regional exhibition «The Best Goods of Kazakhstan» with the support of the Atameken Regional Chamber. The event was also attended by representatives of KazakhExport ESC JSC, Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC and Kazakh Invest National Company JSC.
In the format of an open dialogue, the Managing Director of QazTrade JSC Aibek Sagynaev presented in detail the tools to support non-commodity exports, and also answered all questions of interest from representatives of the business community of the region. A number of enterprises expressed their desire to take part in existing export support programs from the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and QazTrade JSC and received individual advice.
On June 25, a meeting with export-oriented companies of the Mangistau region was held on the territory of the SEZ «Seaport Aktau», with the participation of representatives of the akimat and the business community of the region. During the meeting, the participants were presented with financial, consulting and analytical, service measures of state support for domestic exporters, as well as the procedure for reimbursement of export costs.
The region’s exporters are already cooperating with QazTrade and benefiting from support measures. Aktau Pipe Plant LLP, Kaskor-Mashzavod JSC, MAGA-BREAD LLP and IE Nugmanova A.K. became participants of the Export Acceleration Program. The Zhamal-ay LTD LLP company received a «Golden» account on the Alibaba electronic trading platform. Two companies (KazAzot JSC and Caspian Cement LLP) were able to cover part of the costs of logistics and promotion of products to foreign markets thanks to the reimbursement tool. In addition, export-oriented enterprises participate in trade and economic missions organized by QazTrade.
During the visit, about 10 enterprises of the Mangistau region were visited, with which an agreement was reached on the sale of products to foreign markets through the use of state support measures.
Thus, after the launch of the chemical plant, Topan Chemical Industries LLP, QazTrade will assist in the sale of caustic soda, hydrochloric acid and other reagents to foreign markets. The production of chemical products at this plant will significantly reduce the import of important industrial reagents and provide enterprises in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries with high-quality domestic chemical products. This plant will also become a unique manufacturer of soda ash used in industrial production.
The manufacturer of oil and gas and drilling equipment OSS Kazakhstan LLP will be provided with analytical support for entering the markets of the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan.
KazAzot JSC is a manufacturer of ammonia and ammonium nitrate, thanks to its quality products, the company is in great demand from a number of foreign countries. Together with QazTrade, it is planned to carry out analytical work on the implementation of new export-oriented projects.
Also, one of the export-oriented projects of the region will be the production of Fiberglass Tank Production LLP. This project will allow the production of mobile glass fiber containers for the transportation and storage of chemical products, including strong acids.
WestEcoPlast LLP produces industrial products from polypropylene. The company is interested in selling its products to the markets of the near abroad.
Meat poultry farm Aktau Agro LLP plans to start exporting chicken meat and granulated feed to neighboring countries.
The joint Kazakh-French production of screw pumps and service maintenance of PCM Kazakhstan LLP will soon begin its activities in the territory of the industrial zone of Aktau. This enterprise can potentially become the largest hub in Central Asia and the Caucasus region. QazTrade, in turn, is ready to assist the enterprise in exporting.
