QazTrade JSC jointly with the International Trade Center (ITC) has launched an initiative on training (coaching) in the field of export management. The program is designed to help business owners in solving the day-to-day challenges of managing their export operations.
Ready4Trade – Central Asia is funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the International Trade Center (ITC).
This initiative is part of the larger Ready4Trade-Central Asia project, which aims to promote intra-regional and international trade in Central Asian countries by increasing the transparency of cross-border requirements, removing regulatory and procedural barriers, strengthening business opportunities to comply with trade formalities and standards, and improving the capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises to comply with cross-border requirements, and by improving cross-border e-commerce.
The strategic partner of the Project in Kazakhstan is the QazTrade company.
Domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) interested in developing their export activities will be able to participate in the export management coaching program.
The training will be conducted by local specialists with extensive practical experience in import / export, certification, freight forwarding and logistics. All specialists have been trained in ITC coaching methodology and are export management coaches.
The training program consists of 5 days of individual consulting. Coaching covers 5 (five) main areas that usually pose problems for SMEs: packaging and labeling of goods, certification, customs procedures, international transport, as well as export planning and billing.
All training will be conducted at the office of the beneficiary – SME.
QazTrade and ITC are currently selecting companies to participate in the coaching program.
In total, 40 domestic companies will be selected within the framework of the coaching project, which will be provided with professional coaching services during 2021.
At the end of the coaching missions, a survey of companies will be conducted to assess the effectiveness and benefits of coaching services for enterprises.
According to the organizers, preference in the selection of candidates will be given to SMEs headed by women entrepreneurs.
Applications from applicants will be accepted until April 12, 2021.
The selection of applicants is carried out on the basis of an online survey at the link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdoWCmZOh7RIq2oMNGgtlWnOoOScwqveRpGTCHB07KTvYROtA/viewform?usp=sf_link
