This year, 50 Kazakhstani suppliers of processed products will obtain Gold Supplier status at Alibaba.com.

Applications will be accepted from June 15 until July 15, 2021. Application can be submitted online on export.gov.kz portal by the following link https://export.gov.kz/sign_in?next=/export/export_support_measures/97.

As part of the promotion of Kazakhstan’s exports through the platform training webinar will be held for all interested entrepreneurs on June 17-18.

During the workshop, the process of registering, creating a website and promoting an account on the platform will be discussed in detail. Participation in the training webinar will also be taken into account when selecting candidates for Gold Supplier status.

During 2019-2020, with the support of the Ministry of Trade and Integration 100 domestic companies obtained Gold Supplier status on Alibaba.com platform.

Currently, more than 4,000 Kazakhstani goods are presented on the platform: pasta, flour, honey, confectionery, meat, beverages, vegetable oils, furniture, clothing, goods for children, etc.

Participants of the program have already signed export contracts worth $45 million. The customers were buyers from China, Macedonia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, the EAEU countries and Central Asia.

Via the Alibaba.com platform, Kazakhstan’s exporters are also negotiating with the countries of Southeast Asia (food products), the Middle East (honey, meat products). Neighboring countries are showing interest in such types of goods as filters, textiles and electrical engineering.
