Kazakhstan exporters are provided with preferences

On September 23th, 2021, QazTrade together with the World Logistics Passport (WLP) program team held a webinar for Kazakh companies and talked about the mechanism of the WLP program and the benefits for business.

The World Logistics Passport initiative aims to expand trade opportunities between emerging markets and provides businesses with access to the benefits (incentives) provided by program partners around the world. WLP offers financial and non-financial benefits such as fast tracking of cargo movements, reduced administrative costs and administrative procedures for cross-border (export-import) trade, discounts on logistics services at transport hubs, etc. Currently, the WLP has partners in 28 countries, including registered partners in Kazakhstan.

WLP partners in Kazakhstan are JSC «Center for Trade Policy Development «QazTrade» (coordinating partner for the implementation of the initiative), JSC «ICBC Khorgos», QazTrade, KazLogistics, Networks Synergy LLP, Department of State Revenues of Almaty. In the future, as part of the development of the WLP program in Kazakhstan, it is planned to connect all key players and operators in the field of logistics.

World Logistics Passport is an inclusive and open program for all participants interested in developing trade.

At the last webinar, Kazakh companies learned about the advantages of the international WLP initiative, the system of bonuses and the possibilities of connecting to the program.

The next training webinar on the World Logistics Passport (WLP) preferential system for Kazakh exporters is scheduled for mid-October.

About World Logistics Passport

The World Logistics Passport (WLP) is the world’s first global logistics and freight loyalty program, providing traders and forwarders with a wide range of benefits to increase trade through the global WLP network and, as the network grows, competitive access to new markets throughout the world. As with the airline’s frequent flyer program, the more a member trades, the more benefits they can get based on their WLP membership level.

Launched in early 2020 in Davos, the WLP program currently reaches 28 countries around the world with over 100 benefits delivered by over 60 partners and is rapidly expanding to all continents and markets. More information can be found on the website: www.worldlogisticspassport.com or at QazTrade.
