How is the transit of sanctioned goods through the territory of Russia carried out

Through the territory of the Russian Federation, transit of sanctioned goods is allowed when carrying out international road and rail transport to third countries, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of June 24, 2019 No. 290 “On Amendments to Certain Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation.”

Such transportation is possible with the use of electronic navigation seals (ENS), as well as if the drivers of vehicles carrying out such road transportation have registration coupons.

The operator of the provision of sealing services on the territory of the Russian Federation since 2020 has been the Center for the Development of Digital Platforms LLC.

Digital Platform Development Center LLC fully interacts with carriers of sanctioned groups of goods, has all the necessary resources and technological solutions for the use of ENS.

Transportation of sanctioned groups of goods using ENS is already carried out through 16 automobile checkpoints and 10 railway checkpoints located on the state border with the Russian Federation; at these checkpoints, the activities of separate divisions of LLC DPDC have been organized. Also, DPDC LLC is preparing to open additional service offices at new checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation. Transit transportation of sanctioned groups of goods will be possible through them. These are such railway checkpoints as: Valuyki, Vyazma, Derbent, Naushki, automobile checkpoint Novy Zaramag, as well as sea checkpoints: Big Port of St. Petersburg, Port Vostochny, Port of Vladivovostok.
