On June 20, the first field seminar was held in Almaty for beginner exporters as part of the Smart Export 2.0 business workshop. More than 50 representatives of Kazakhstani manufacturers of food, engineering, chemical, textile and other industries took part in this event.
During the seminar, the participants got acquainted with the customs procedure for export, existing measures of non-tariff regulation. They touched upon such issues as the classification of goods according to the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity, the registration of the customs procedure for the export of goods.
The second part of the workshop included a practical session on filling out a customs declaration. The companies were able to fill in the customs declaration on their own using the Astana-1 information system.

Until the end of the year, within the framework of the business workshop, it is planned to hold thematic webinars in online format and 2 regional seminars. At the same time, the content of the workshop is divided according to the skill levels of the participants.
Training for mid-level exporters will take place tentatively from 1 to 10 August. For more experienced exporters, training will be available in the first decade of October.
In 2021, over 900 participants from over 400 exporting companies have already participated in the Smart Export business workshop. They completed an 8-day online training course with 23 trainers, international and local experts. In this program, they got acquainted with the most pressing issues in order to be one step closer to the requirements of modern reality.
