Exports from Kazakhstan to Belarus in January – June 2020 decreased by 38.9% and amounted to $ 33.2 million. US dollars.
The decrease in exports to Belarus is justified by a decrease in the supply of such goods as: oil products – by 75.2% or by 16.1 million USD (from 21.4 to 5.3 million US dollars ), natural gas – by 78% or by 5.8 million US dollars (from 7.4 to 1.6 million US dollars ), raw aluminum – by 93.4% or 2 million US dollars (from 2.1 to 0.1 million US dollars ), flax seeds – by 100% or by 1.7 million US dollars (from 1.7 to 0.0 million US dollars ), non-alloyed steel clad flat-rolled articles – by 85.2% or 1.2 million US dollars (from 1.4 to 0.2 million US dollars).
At the same time, there is an increase in the supply of such goods as: coal – by 95.5% or by 3.8 million US dollars (from 4.0 to 7.7 million US dollars ), rails – an increase by 3.9 times or by $ 2.2 million (from 0.7 to 2.9 million US dollars ), uncombed cotton fiber – by 72.8% or by 1.5 million US dollars (from 2.1 to 3.6 million US dollars ), cast iron – by $ 1.1 million US dollars (from 0 to 1.1 million US dollars ), ferro-alloys – an increase by 3.1 times or by 681 thousand US dollars (from 323.6 to 1 004.6 thousand US dollars).
The main export goods from Kazakhstan to Belarus are: coal – 7.7 million US dollars (with a share of 23.3%), oil products – 5.3 million US dollars (16%), uncombed cotton fiber – 3.6 million US dollars (10.7%), rails – 2.9 million US dollars (8.8%), raw zinc by 2.1 million US dollars (6.2%), non-alloyed steel cold flat-rolled articles – 2 million US dollars (6%), natural gas – 1.6 million US dollars (4.9%), cast iron – $ 1.1 US million (3.3%), ferro-alloys – 1 million US dollars (3%), computers – 639.7 thousand US dollars (1.9%).

The reduction in imports from Belarus is justified by a decrease in the import of such goods as: tractors and truck trailers – by 76.7% or by 31.7 million US dollars (from 41.3 to 9.6 million US dollars ), trucks – by 87%, or 12.1 million US dollars (from 13.9 to 1.8 million US dollars ), wallpaper and similar wall coverings – by 84.4% or $ 6 million (from 7.1 to 1.1 million US dollars ), machines and mechanisms for harvesting and threshing crops – by 22.6% or by 3.7 million US dollars (from 16.2 to 12.5 million US dollars ), other furniture and accessories – by 26.7% or 3.4 million US dollars (from 12.7 to 9.3 million US dollars ), oil products – by 85.5% or by 2.5 million US dollars (from 3.0 to 0.4 million US dollars ), components and accessories for cars and tractors – by 32.5% or 2.4 million US dollars (from 7.3 to 4.9 million US dollars).
At the same time, there is an increase in imports of such goods as: fresh or chilled beef – an increase by 3.4 times or 15.5 million US dollars (from 6.6 to 22.1 million US dollars ), sugar – an increase by 2.3 times or by 9.9 million US dollars (from 7.8 to 17.7 million US dollars ), condensed and powdered milk and cream – by 32.9% or 4.7 million US dollars.
