Exports from Kazakhstan to Belarus in January – July 2020 decreased by 42.7% and amounted to 37.1 million US dollars.
The decrease in exports to Belarus is justified by a decrease in the supply of such goods as: oil products – by 76.5% or by 18.5 million US dollars (from 24.2 to 5.7 million US dollars ), natural gas – by 83.2% or by 8.1 million US dollars (from 9.7 to 1.6 million US dollars ), raw aluminum – by 94.9% or 2.5 million US dollars (from 2.7 to 0.1 million US dollars ), flax seeds – by 100% or by 1,7 million US dollars (from 1.7 to 0.0 million US dollars ), non-alloyed steel clad flat-rolled articles – by 85.2% or 1,2 million US dollars (from 1.4 to 0.2 million US dollars ).
At the same time, there is an increase in the supply of such goods as: coal – by 39.6% or by 2.5 million US dollars (from 6.4 to 8.9 million US dollars ), rails – an increase by 2.8 times or by 1.9 million US dollars (from 1.1 to 3.0 million US dollars ), uncombed cotton fiber – by 76.6% or by 1.8 million US dollars (from 2.4 to 4.2 million US dollars ), cast iron – by 1.1 million US dollars (from 0 to 1.1 million US dollars ), ferro-alloys – an increase by 2.7 times or by 674.9 thousand US dollars (from 402.3 to 1,077.2 thousand US dollars ).
The main export goods from Kazakhstan to Belarus are: coal – 8.9 million US dollars (with a share of 24%), oil products – 5.7 million US dollars (15.3%), uncombed cotton fiber – 4.2 million US dollars (11.4%), rails – 3 million US dollars (8.2%), raw zinc by 2.5 million US dollars (6.7%), non-alloyed steel cold flat-rolled articles – 2.1 million US dollars (5.5%), natural gas – 1.6 million US dollar (4.4%), cast iron – 1.1 million US dollars (3%), ferro-alloys – 1.1 million US dollars (2.9%), computers – 639.7 thousand US dollars (1,7%). The reduction in imports from Belarus is justified by a decrease in the import of such goods as: tractors and truck trailers – by 60.7% or by 28 million US dollars (from 46.1 to 18.1 million US dollars ), trucks – by 87.5% or 13.1 million US dollars (from 15.0 to 1.9 million US dollars ), machines and mechanisms for harvesting and threshing crops – by 29.4% or by 7.7 million US dollars (from 26.1 to 18.4 million US dollars ), wallpaper and similar wall coverings – by 82.4% or 7.3 million US dollars (from 8.9 to 1.6 million US dollars ), other furniture and accessories – by 24.6% or 3.8 million US dollars (from 15.3 to 11.5 million US dollars ), oil products – by 82.7% or by 2.9 million US dollars (from 3.5 to 0.6 million US dollars ), non-self-propelled railway carriages or tram cars – by 100% or by 2.7 million US dollars (from 2.7 to 0.0 million US dollars ).
At the same time, there is an increase in imports of such goods as: fresh or chilled beef – an increase by 2.8 times or 15.9 million US dollars (from 9.0 to 24.9 million US dollars ), sugar – an increase by 2.1 times or by 11.1 million US dollars (from 9.9 to 21.0 million US dollars ), condensed and powdered milk and cream – by 34.5% or 6.2 million US dollars. (from 17.9 to 24.1 million US dollars ), medicines packaged for retail sale – by 35.6% or 2.9 million US dollars (from 8.0 to 10.9 million US dollars ), buttermilk, yogurt, kefir – increase by 7 times or 2.8 million US dollars (from 0.5 to 3.3 million US dollars ).
The main import goods to Kazakhstan from Belarus are: fresh or chilled beef – 24.9 million US dollars (with a share of 7.5%), condensed and dry milk and cream – 24.1 million US dollars (7.3%), sugar – 21 million US dollars (6.4%), machines and mechanisms for harvesting and threshing crops – 18.4 million US dollars (5.6%), tractors and truck trailers – 18.1 million US dollars (5.5%), other furniture and its parts – 11.5 million US dollars (3.5%), medicines packaged for retail sale – 10.9 million US dollars (3.3%), cheeses and cottage cheese – 10.1 million US dollars (3%).
