Exports from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan in January – August 2020 decreased by 14% and amounted to 338.7 million US dollars.
The decrease in exports to Kyrgyzstan is justified by a decrease in the supply of such goods as: wheat – by 67.6% or by 12.7 million US dollars (from 18.8 to 6.1 million US dollars ), tobacco products – by 24.6% or by 7.6 million US dollars (from 30.8 to 23.2 million US dollars ), other railway locomotives – by 100% or by 7,6 million US dollars (from 7.6 to 0.0 million US dollars ), coke and petroleum bitumen – by 99.9% or 5,7 million US dollars (from 5.7 to 0.0 million US dollars ), steel structures made of ferrous metals – by 83.6% or 4.4 million US dollars (from 5.2 to 0.9 million US dollars ).
At the same time, there is an increase in the supply of such goods as: wheat flour – increase by 2.1 times or by 7.1 million US dollars. (from 6.7 to 13.8 million US dollars ), bituminous coal – by 93%, or 5.7 million US dollars. (from 6.2 to 11.9 million US dollars ), cement – by 25.1 % or 2.8 million US dollars (from 11.2 to 14.1 million US dollars ), consoles, panels, tables for electrical equipment – an increase by 9.3 times or by 2.3 million US dollars (from 0.3 to 2.6 million US dollars ), trucks – an increase by 2.9 times or by 2.2 million US dollars (from 1.1 to 3.3 million US dollars ).
The main export goods from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan are: petroleum products – 34 million US dollars (with a share of 10%), natural gas – 27.8 billion (8.2%), tobacco products – 23.2 million US dollars (6.9%), waters, including mineral and carbonated ones, with sugar – 14.7 million US dollars (4.3%), cement – 14.1 million US dollars (4.1%), wheat flour – 13.8 million US dollars (4.1%), hard coal – 11.9 million US dollars (3.5%), hygiene items for women and children – 11.5 million US dollars (3.4%), non-alloyed steel clad flat-rolled articles – 7,5 million US dollars (2.2%), wheat – 6,1 million US dollars (1.8%). The reduction in imports from Kyrgyzstan is justified by a decrease in the import of such goods as: shoes with natural leather uppers – by 100% or by 10 million US dollars (from 10.0 to 0.0 million US dollars ), ores and other concentrates – by 100% or 8.5 million US dollars (from 8.5 to 0.0 million US dollars ), components of rolling stock – by 83.4 % or by 5.2 million US dollars (from 6.3 to 1.0 million US dollars ), unglazed ceramic tiles – by 75.8% or by 3.9 million US dollars (from 5.1 to 1.2 million US dollars ), men’s textile shirts – by 99.8%, or by 3.2 million US dollars (from 3.2 to 0.0 million US dollars ), polished glass – by 26.2%, or 2.8 million US dollars (from 10.7 to 7.9 million US dollars ), apples, pears and quinces, fresh – by 99% or 2.6 million US dollars (from 2.7 to 0.0 million US dollars ).
At the same time, there is an increase in imports of such goods as: tires – an increase by 19.8 times or 2.4 million US dollars (from 0.1 to 2.5 million US dollars ), condensed and dried milk and cream – an increase by 4.1 times or by 2.3 million US dollars (from 0.7 to 3.0 million US dollars ), cheese and cottage cheese – an increase by 3.8 times or by 2.2 million US dollars (from 0.8 to 3.0 million US dollars ), seamless ferrous pipes, tubes and profiles – by 92.6% or 1.3 million US dollars (from 1.4 to 2.6 million US dollars ), bread and flour confectionery – by 16.1% or 1 million US dollars (from 6.5 to 7.5 million US dollars ).
The main import goods to Kazakhstan from Kyrgyzstan are: ores and precious metal concentrates – 69,4 million US dollars (with a share of 46.1%), polished glass – 7.9 million US dollars (5.3%), bread and pastry, flour confectionery products – 7.5 million US dollars (5%), plastic containers – 6,9 million US dollars (4.6%), condensed and dried milk and cream – 3 million US dollars (2%), cheese and cottage cheese – 3 million US dollars (2%), milk and unsweetened cream – 2.8 million US dollars (1.8%), lighting equipment – 2.8 million US dollars (1.8%).
