About 70 exporting companies took part in the Forum.
During the event, an exhibition was held where active exporters demonstrated the goods they promote to foreign markets.
So, in particular, the company AFilter.kz has introduced polypropylene water filters, “Biotech karal” – some types of dietary supplements to animal feed. Bio yogurts of the company “Healthy products”, fruit and nut bars of the company “TOP ENERGY KZ” and much more were demonstrated at the exhibition.
All exporters are participants in state export support programs.
Opening the Forum, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov said that the number of active exporters in Kazakhstan exceeded 540, which is 100 companies higher than in 2020.
Sultanov noted that the last two years have been difficult for the entire international trade, and the ongoing consequences of COVID-19 and the geopolitical situation in the world are still affecting Kazakhstan’s foreign trade activity.
– Restrictive measures of the Chinese side have been in effect for two years. Since 2020, we have been conducting a full-fledged dialogue at the government level, and we continue to work to improve the operation of border checkpoints. The current Russian-Ukrainian crisis has affected supply chains that have not had time to recover from the pandemic. At the height of the crisis, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Union of Transport Workers, literally manually engaged in the return and delivery of goods in the direction of Kazakhstan-EU and EU-RK. Another related problem was the reorientation of sales markets. I know that many companies participating in the Forum today are actively working to find additional opportunities to enter new markets. Government agencies are also working on export opportunities in new directions,” said Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration.
He also informed entrepreneurs that in order to promote Kazakh products in foreign markets and find reliable buyers, the Ministry of Trade, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are developing Country export programs. In addition, the experts of QazTrade, the operator of export support measures, have prepared more than two dozen reviews of foreign markets, digests and bulletins, conducted more than 60 analytical works to identify opportunities and identify risks for trade.
– Now we are working in the MIT coalition – Embassies of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 40 countries – Business. Such spot work has become a qualitative basis for export promotion,” B.Sultanov said.

Chairman of the Board of KazakhExport Aslan Kaligazin in his speech presented to the Forum participants the key results of the company’s activities, financial and insurance measures to support Kazakhstan’s non-commodity exporters and examples of effective use of support tools.
Azamat Askaruly, General Director of QazTrade JSC, informed the businessmen about a wide range of non-financial measures to support the Company that an exporter can receive: from learning the basics of foreign trade activities to reimbursing part of the costs of exporting. For example, certification and conformity assessment in the markets of other countries, marketing promotion and rental of offices and warehouses, transportation costs, etc.
– There are more than 20 different tools in the competence of the single window of export support – the company “QazTrade”. Practice has shown that the Export accelerator enjoys the greatest interest, bringing it to the site Alibaba.com and Trade and economic missions in other countries. With the removal of covid restrictions, exhibition activities have intensified. We make up the geography of TEM and exhibitions taking into account the wishes of entrepreneurs. During the Forum, exporters asked representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Development Institutes and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs a number of questions.
Following the results of the First Forum of Kazakhstani Exporters, the institutes of export development and Support, as well as entrepreneurship development, awarded prizes to active participants of state support programs.

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov took the initiative to celebrate the achievements of our exporters annually.
– There is an Altyn Sapa award in Kazakhstan for the best producers. I think it is possible to establish a nomination for the Best Exporter of the Year. The winners should be elected by voting,” he announced a proposal that was supported by exporters.
At the site of the First Forum of Exporters of Kazakhstan, two Memoranda were signed for the conclusion of contracts for the supply of goods for 3 million rubles and 500 000 US dollars.
