The single operator of state export support measures – QazTrade JSC – with the support of the Ministry of Trade and Integration and the Bureau of Continuous Professional Development of the Astana International Financial Center is launching a free business workshop “Smart Export 2.0” from June 20.
The programme is aimed to exporters of all levels, representatives of large, medium and small businesses, industry associations and business communities, as well as all those wishing to gain new skills and knowledge in the field of export activities.
Training will be conducted by leading international and local experts in international trade on selected markets.
More than 12 online thematic webinars and 3 regional seminars are planned within the workshop in Almaty, Shymkent and Nur-Sultan cities.
The content of the workshop is divided according to the skill levels of the participants. For the beginner level webinars (June 20-24) the following topics are offered: preparation and implementation of strategies for negotiations in the B2B market, sources of useful information for exporters, delivery terms, export contract, and customs clearance procedures for exports.
For intermediate level (August 1-10) prepared topics: requirements to foreign suppliers of retail sphere, technical regulations of importing countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia and others), how to get into the register of importers of foreign countries, development of cargo transportation through the Trans-Caspian international transport route, tools to support exporters: reimbursement of part of the costs.
For advanced level (November 1-10): opening a trade representative office or a trading house in foreign countries, peculiarities of VAT refund when exporting etc.

Training programs for exporters are conducted by QazTrade Academy, opened in QazTrade JSC.
In 2021 more than 900 participants from over 200 exporting companies took part in the “Smart Export” business workshop. They took an 8-day online training course with 23 trainers, international and local experts.
