On May 26-27, 2022, during a working visit to Petropavlovsk, Managing Director of JSC «QazTrade» Aibek Sagynayev visited export-oriented enterprises of LLP «Raduga», LLP «Cool Infinity», LLP «Northern Plywood Mill», LLP «Eurasian Milk» and LLP «Kirpich SK».
For reference: The company «Raduga KDR» is one of the largest Kazakhstani manufacturers and distributors of consumer goods. At the moment there are about 700 items of products of different product categories. The company has also been selected for the Export Acceleration Program, in order to further increase export supplies. At the same time, «Raduga KDR» applies a mechanism for reimbursement of transportation costs.
«Cool Infinity» LLP is engaged in the production of thermos wagons and refrigerated wagons for the transportation of perishable products. The company is also a participant in the Export Acceleration Program.
«Northern Plywood Mill» LLP opened in early 2021, but has already established itself as an active exporter. The company has customers for laminated plywood from neighboring countries and Europe (Poland, Lithuania, Germany, etc.). The design capacity of the enterprise is 18 thousand cubic meters of finished products per year.
«Eurasian» Milk LLP is a relatively recently implemented investment project of the «Eurasian Foods Corporation» holding. The modernized dairy plant, focused on the production of butter, sour cream, various types of cheeses, is capable of producing up to 128 thousand tons of processed dairy products per year.
«Kirpich SK» LLP is a brick production plant that began its activity in the 2nd quarter of 2022. The enterprise plans to produce up to 45 million bricks per year, which will cover about 30% of the region’s demand for construction resources.
At the same time, the last 3 above-mentioned manufacturing enterprises, after negotiations, decided to participate in the existing export support programs from JSC «QazTrade».
In addition, a regular meeting of the Regional Export Council was held in the North Kazakhstan region on May 26 with the participation of exporters of the region, employees of the akimat of the region, Managing Director of JSC «QazTrade» Aibek Sagynayev, Deputy Director of «KazakhExport» Almaz Nurgaliyev and Deputy Director of JSC «Qazindustry» Gulnar Saukenova.
During the Regional Export Council, Aibek Sagynayev explained the existing tools for supporting exporters from the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC «QazTrade» (reimbursement of part of export costs, export acceleration program, launch on international electronic platforms, service support measures) and also answered the questions of entrepreneurs of the region.
The turnover of processed products of the North Kazakhstan region in january-march 2022 amounted to 150.5 million US dollars, which is 31.4% more than the same period in 2021. The volume of non-primary exports of the region increased by more than 2 times, amounting to 39.1 million US dollars. Flour, rapeseed oil, animal feed, railway wagons and dairy products occupy the main share in the export structure.
Exporters of the region are already actively cooperating with JSC «QazTrade» and using support measures. In the period from 2020 to 2022, ten companies in the region («Timiryazevsky Flour Mill» LLP, «Firm Dikanshi» LLP, Yakorskaya Poultry Farm, «Branch of ALMATYNAN Bakery Combine» LLP, «Isolit» LLP, «Cool Infinity» LLP, «Zernoprodukt SK» LLP, «Hikmet LTD» LLP, «BIO Operations» LLP, «Raduga» LLP) became participants of the Export Acceleration Program, 7 companies («Plant named after S.M. Kirov» JSC, «Firm Dikanshy» LLP, «Hikmet LTD» LLP, «SMBGROUP Family» LLP, «Molproduct» LLP, «Petropavlovsk Heavy Machinery Plant» JSC, «BioOperations» LLP) received a «Golden account» on the Alibaba platform.
In 2021, 17 exporting companies of the region received reimbursement of part of export costs for 702.9 million tenge.
At the same time, entrepreneurs of the North Kazakhstan region are actively using service support measures of JSC «QazTrade». So, in 2021, 4 companies («Plant named after S.M. Kirov» JSC, «Cool Infinity» LLP, «Raduga» LLP, «Firm Dikanshy» LLP) took part in Trade and economic missions abroad (Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran and the UAE).
In addition, the meeting was attended by the regional representative of JSC «QazTrade» in Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions – Butabayev Askar Manarbekovich, whose competence includes interaction and support of exporters in the region.
Following the meeting of the Regional Export Council, business representatives expressed interest in the need for further continuation of work on the application of various mechanisms of state support for exports.
Also, on May 27, 2022, the Managing director of JSC «QazTrade» Aibek Sagynayev spoke at the presentation of «Petropavlovsk Electrotechnical Plant» LLP of the group of companies «Alageum Electric».
For reference: GC «Alageum Electric» is a large electrical engineering company in Kazakhstan, includes more than 30 large enterprises and plants successfully operating in the field of electric power, electrical engineering and construction.
The total amount of the investment project for the construction of a plant in the city of Petropavlovsk amounted to 10 billion tenge. The company has created 350 jobs. The production capacity of the enterprise is 13 thousand transformers per year. At the same time, 98% of the products will be exported to the CIS countries.
Within the framework of the event, representatives of JSC «QazTrade» held talks with the management of GC «Alageum Electric», during which the possibilities of implementing joint export-oriented projects were discussed.
