The 29th International Exhibition of Food, Beverages and Raw Materials for their Production “PRODEXPO-2022” has started in Moscow today.

The Republic of Kazakhstan is represented for the first time by a single national stand at this exhibition, as well as by a Partner Country of the exhibition. Opening the Kazakhstan National Stand, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration Kairat Torebayev noted that the new format of participation “provides Kazakh companies with more opportunities for more effective promotion and recognition of domestic products.”

The participants of the Kazakhstan National Stand were 20 companies-manufacturers of such goods as: honey products, confectionery, pasta, flour and confectionery products, salt, soft drinks, juices and beer, ice cream, vegetable oils. During all the days of the exhibition (February 7-11), B2B meetings of Kazakhstani companies with Russian retail chains, distributors and wholesale purchasing companies will be held.

As Azamat Askaruly, General Director of QazTrade JSC, commented, “the potential for exporting agricultural products and food products has not been realized in Kazakhstan’s bilateral trade with Russia. Our products are famous all over the world for their high quality and environmentally friendly composition.  The participation of Kazakhstani producers in PRODEXPO, one of the world’s largest exhibition venues, is an opportunity to expand trade relations with Russia specifically in the export of food products.”
