A regular meeting of the Regional Export Council was held in Karaganda with the participation of export-oriented companies.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Export Promotion Department of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Omerbek Bashtay, Head of Industry and Industrial-Innovative Development of Karaganda Region Murat Kydyrganbekov, Deputy Director of Project Development Department of «QazTrade» JSC Ayimgul Nurgalieva and regional representative of «KazakhExport» JSC in Karaganda region Adil Mukhanov.
Today QazTrade is an operator for the development and promotion of non-resource exports. The Company concentrates almost all tools of non-financial support for producers of domestic products, from diagnosing the company and assessing its export capabilities to providing high-quality analytics and consulting services. In addition, since this year, the Company is also engaged in reimbursement of exporters’ costs.
The main task of Regional Export Councils is to establish direct contact between representatives of the business community and authorized state bodies and export development institutes, which makes it possible to respond promptly to all arising problematic situations.
Representatives of QazTrade presented in detail available tools of support (reimbursement of part of the cost of export, export acceleration, introduction of electronic trading platforms, export training) of domestic entrepreneurs and discussed problematic issues on export issues.
Exporters of the region are already actively cooperating with QazTrade and take advantage of support measures. Thus, based on the results of the three phases of entry to electronic trading platforms, six companies in the region (Eurasia Invest Ltd LLP, Asia-SM LLP, KazPlast LLP, Kaz-metiz LLP, Trading House Holding Altyn Arna LLP and Karaganda Milling Plant LLP) became «Gold Account» on the Alibaba platform, one company (KAZBEEF GROUP LLP) became a participant in the Export Acceleration Program 2020. This year, six more companies (AZIA SM LLP, Maker LLP, ELTO Power Systems LLP, QazTehna LLP, Karaganda-Osetr LLP, QNP-Education LLP) became participants in this Program.
At the end of 2020, 17 enterprises of Karaganda region received reimbursement of part of the costs in the amount of 333.5 million tenge.
This year, according to the results of 22 meetings of the IMC 26 applications from 11 subjects were approved for a total amount of 427.3 million tenge.
