From 7 to 8 April this year QazTrade specialists, together with the Akimat of Akmola region, held a number of meetings with large enterprises in the regions, during which they discussed the development of enterprises in terms of foreign economic activity, plans to realize export potential, and also presented the current measures of state support for exporting companies provided by QazTrade.
At the moment, Akmola region is one of the main agricultural regions of Kazakhstan. The share of non-primary exports of the region is 51.5%. The volume of exports of Akmola region in 2020 amounted to 718.6 million US dollars, which is 58.4% higher than in 2019 (453.6 million US dollars).
Recall that earlier on February 25, 2021, QazTrade, together with the Akimat of Akmola region, held an online meeting of the Regional Export Council.
So in the city of Kokshetau, a meeting was held with representatives of “Novopek” LLP. “Novopek” is a long-term leader in the polymer packaging market. Today the company is a manufacturer of packaging for flour, cereals, sugar, salt, sulfur, saltpeter, cement, copper concentrate, ferroalloys, etc. The company is the recipient of the cost recovery support.
During the meeting, with “Gormolzavod” LLP discussed the possibility of increasing exports, as well as the emergence of new product lines.
Issues related to reimbursement of costs, possible improvements in this measure of support were discussed with representatives of JSC “Tynys”, as well as interest was shown in other services provided by the state to promote non-resource exports.
In addition, “ENKI”LLP and “KazRost Engineering” were visited.
In the city of Shchuchinsk, a meeting was held with KazBeef Processing LLP, the last year’s participant in the export accelerator.
In Stepnogorsk, QazTrade employees visited “SSAP” LLP (sulfuric acid producers), “Astana Nan Chemicals” LLP – the largest domestic plant for the production of plant protection chemicals, “Kazakhstan Greenhouse Technologies” LLP – a greenhouse complex that grows vegetables and flowers.
QazTrade is always open to new initiatives to promote exports, the development of new interaction mechanisms and is open to dialogue.
