On October 22, 2020, as part of the Qaztrade export acceleration, a group online coaching session was held for flour and confectionery producers. The session was held by a major expert in this industry from China – General Director of The Qidong Kangmin food factory Jian Zhang.Qidong Kangmin works with two main distribution channels – intermediary distributors and supermarkets (including RT-Mart, Auchan, Metro, Walmart, Tesco, Suguo and China Resources).During the coaching session, the Chinese expert answered practical questions of Kazakhstani entrepreneurs: the distribution process, payment terms, the time required between order and delivery, the qualification of imports when searching for suppliers, as well as the main sales channels (intermediary distributors and supermarkets).During the conversation, Mr. Zhang expressed interest in concluding a large long-term contract with the producers of Kazakhstan for the purchase of Kazakh flour.
As part of the Qaztrade Accelerator export acceleration program, a number of similar meetings of domestic producers with potential partners from China are planned.
